We take great pride in hearing the positive feedback our homes get for the work they have been doing. Our residents and their families and friends regularly send cards and thank-yous, some of which are shared here.
"Our beloved family member was recently cared for until her passing at Archers Park. We as a family want to pass on our sincere thanks for the care and support Sharon and our family were shown throughout the duration of her stay there."
"The staff were absolutely amazing, going way beyond their duties to care for Sharon and the whole family during this difficult period, especially in the last few weeks of her life."
"She was cared for in the kindest and most professional and respectful way possible, as if she was one of the family. As a family, we were supported and consulted throughout the duration and fast progression of her illness, and always with the highest standards of professionalism."
"We must acknowledge the manager Roslyn and Senior Care Assistant Karl, who were outstanding, They were always supportive and recognised that as a big family, we all wanted to be there at the end for Sharon. Nothing was ever a problem for them."
"Although nothing can ease the pain of losing Sharon, knowing she was cared for in this home with the greatest respect and dignity helps us to deal with our loss."

We wanted to take the time to write to you to let you know how much the staff at Norton Lees Hall & Lodge are appreciated, and what an excellent job they do.
"At first Mum was reluctant to stay at the Lodge, but with the care and patience of the staff there, she soon settled in and became part of the family. She was well cared for and we always felt welcome to visit whenever we wanted."
"Any questions or concerns we had were always addressed and dealt with efficiently and with care. Unfortunately Mum had a stroke in August and was admitted to hospital. After much deliberation, we decided it would be better for her to be transferred back to Norton Hall & Lodge so that she was in familiar surroundings and with people she knew caring for her. The staff were absolutley amazing, taking care of mum and our whole family throughout the whole time."
"When Mum passed away, Karen, Liz, and Cheryl prepared her for the undertaker. It was comforting to know that friends and not strangers were doing that for her on her final journey."
"We cannot thank them enough for all their care and compassion during this sad time for our family, but it was very much appreciated."

I write on behalf of the late Mrs Clift who lived at Cambridge Park.
"Mrs Clift received the best attention you could wish for during her stay. The staff throughout were personal with her, making her feel wanted and comfortable in her surroundings."
"You have a wonderful team here, they are a credit to your company. There was never a time when anything was too much for the staff to deal with. My wife an I as visitors were always made to feel welcome at any time of day and were received warmly by the staff. I was very impressed throughout by the Home Manager, the Home Administrator, the kitchen staff, laundry staff, cleaner and especially the Senior Care Assistants."
"I was particularly impressed on the day of the funeral, and the representation we had from the home, as well as the tea and sandwhcihes we enjoyed afterwards back at the home. I hope to be able to call in now and again to say hello."

“I would like it passed on that the family and I especially, are extremely pleased and grateful for the level of care provided by your staff at Lofthouse Grange & Lodge.
“Their patience and depth of care is infinite. I would name names but they are such a good integrated team I am afraid I would miss somebody out. They look after mum much better then I or any of the family could. The team saves me a lot of time worrying over mum and it is really appreciated. She is happier than she has been in a long time.”

"My much loved Auntie Nansi had died very peacefully the Monday evening. My good fortune was to have had the chance to spend time with Nansi over the last few years of her long and interesting life.
"From the first day I walked into the building I knew my brother and his wife had found the right place for our much loved Auntie. Throughout the years, Nansi called Lofthouse home, firstly Grange then Lodge. I was impressed by the fresh feel, caring and warm atmosphere. Having had a working career over a 40 years in various care/social work roles in UK, America and Australia, I know what the job is like from the inside and know genuine care when I see it."
"The care Nansi received from everyone made her last few weeks as peaceful and safe as one could wish for. For this I am eternally grateful. Please pass on my deepest gratitude and love to all at Lofthouse."
Very best wishes,
Anna Howard (eldest niece)
