We take great pride in hearing the positive feedback our homes get for the work they have been doing. Our residents and their families and friends regularly send cards and thank-yous, some of which are shared here.
“I would like it passed on that the family and I especially, are extremely pleased and grateful for the level of care provided by your staff at Lofthouse Grange & Lodge.
“Their patience and depth of care is infinite. I would name names but they are such a good integrated team I am afraid I would miss somebody out. They look after mum much better then I or any of the family could. The team saves me a lot of time worrying over mum and it is really appreciated. She is happier than she has been in a long time.”

"My much loved Auntie Nansi had died very peacefully the Monday evening. My good fortune was to have had the chance to spend time with Nansi over the last few years of her long and interesting life.
"From the first day I walked into the building I knew my brother and his wife had found the right place for our much loved Auntie. Throughout the years, Nansi called Lofthouse home, firstly Grange then Lodge. I was impressed by the fresh feel, caring and warm atmosphere. Having had a working career over a 40 years in various care/social work roles in UK, America and Australia, I know what the job is like from the inside and know genuine care when I see it."
"The care Nansi received from everyone made her last few weeks as peaceful and safe as one could wish for. For this I am eternally grateful. Please pass on my deepest gratitude and love to all at Lofthouse."
Very best wishes,
Anna Howard (eldest niece)
My mother Eileen Nangle was a resident at Cambridge Park Care Home.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Cambridge Park for their care and attention given to my mother during all the time of her stay there, especially the staff the day my mother died, they could not have done more.”
Martin Nangle (Eileen's son)
The Elsy family thank you all for your kindness and help shown to Doris (mother) during her stay in Ashlea Mews.
“We cannot thank you enough….it was an enormous comfort to all of the family...that she was being looked after in such pleasant surroundings and by such dedicated and caring people…Doris was able to spend her last years in such a caring environment with such an impeccably high standard of care, delivered with such warmth and compassion.
Competent, sensitive careers like you are the prize of the caring profession. Thank you to each and every one of you for the wonderful work you do…Ashlea Mews, what a very special place!”
I feel it necessary to contact you regarding the care my mum (Elsie Garner) received whilst a resident of Green Park Devonshire Unit.
“From the day my mum entered Greenpark she was treated as an individual with dignity and respect. Mum felt all the staff were her friends rather than her carers, in fact I'm sure she regarded them as her second family- taking interest in their stories about their children, grandchildren, and pets.”
“I could not speak more highly of everyone who came into contact with mum…my heartfelt thanks (goes) to everyone (to) let the staff know how grateful I am to them all.
"My mum had a great time at Cambridge Park....she had nothing but praise for all the staff and she said they were friendly and approachable. The staff made her stay a wonderful experience....a huge plus for the home was the variety of food that was on offer which catered to my mum, who is a picky eater."
Cambridge Park would be the first choice if she needed to go in for respite again and I have no suggestions or improvements for the home, it is a fantastic place."
