We take great pride in hearing the positive feedback our homes get for the work they have been doing. Our residents and their families and friends regularly send cards and thank-yous, some of which are shared here.
Regarding my mother (Agnes Ballard) at Blenheim Nursing home, West Ruislip.
"Last week I attended my mothers six week review of placement with Social Services along with my father and my husband. From this review we would like to take this opportunity to thank your staff for all they are providing for my mum. We are fully aware her Dementia has made her behaviour challenging in many ways, but we would like for you to pass on our gratitude to the staff on floor two for the fantastic care and support they have shown towards mum.
"This has made her transfer to Blenheim run very smoothly. My father, husband, son and daughter have all commented on how happy mum appears to be and that the care home is much more suited to mums needs. A special thanks goes to Muriel who keeps me informed on mums week."
My mother Eileen Nangle was a resident at Cambridge Park Care Home.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Cambridge Park for their care and attention given to my mother during all the time of her stay there, especially the staff the day my mother died, they could not have done more.”
Martin Nangle (Eileen's son)
The Elsy family thank you all for your kindness and help shown to Doris (mother) during her stay in Ashlea Mews.
“We cannot thank you enough….it was an enormous comfort to all of the family...that she was being looked after in such pleasant surroundings and by such dedicated and caring people…Doris was able to spend her last years in such a caring environment with such an impeccably high standard of care, delivered with such warmth and compassion.
Competent, sensitive careers like you are the prize of the caring profession. Thank you to each and every one of you for the wonderful work you do…Ashlea Mews, what a very special place!”
I feel it necessary to contact you regarding the care my mum (Elsie Garner) received whilst a resident of Green Park Devonshire Unit.
“From the day my mum entered Greenpark she was treated as an individual with dignity and respect. Mum felt all the staff were her friends rather than her carers, in fact I'm sure she regarded them as her second family- taking interest in their stories about their children, grandchildren, and pets.”
“I could not speak more highly of everyone who came into contact with mum…my heartfelt thanks (goes) to everyone (to) let the staff know how grateful I am to them all.
"My mum had a great time at Cambridge Park....she had nothing but praise for all the staff and she said they were friendly and approachable. The staff made her stay a wonderful experience....a huge plus for the home was the variety of food that was on offer which catered to my mum, who is a picky eater."
Cambridge Park would be the first choice if she needed to go in for respite again and I have no suggestions or improvements for the home, it is a fantastic place."
"I would like to say that the staff at Sutton Hall & Lodge have been very professional in every way, and they have always kept me informed of any changes or concerns they had over the period that mother was a resident and I would like to say thank you to you all.
Please pass these comments to the staff at Sutton Hall & Lodge.
