Short-Term Respite Care

Caring for a loved one in your own home can be a rewarding experience, but comes with its own set of challenges. As a caregiver, it's important to take advantage of local support available to you, such as respite care in one of our award-winning care homes.

Respite care, also known as short-term care, is a temporary or interim stay in a care or nursing home. Respite stays have many benefits for both you and your loved one; including giving them a safe environment to recover after a hospital stay, a chance for a well-deserved break to the caregiver, and to even try out our communities before making a more permanent decision.

Every resident living in one of our 23 care homes receives exceptional care, regardless of how long they stay with us. We work closely with family members, Local Authority and healthcare professionals to ensure your loved one's needs are met to the highest level.
