A proud residential care and dementia care home in Rotherham.
Located in Kimberworth Park near to Rotherham town centre, Cherry Trees is the only care home in Rotherham to be awarded ‘Outstanding’ in Care by our regulators the CQC. Cherry Trees offers 66 en-suite rooms all equipped with the latest facilities and amenities.
Our dementia care friendly home was awarded Care Home of the Year at the 2018 Orchard Care Home Heart Awards, and our company Orchard was recently named small care home provider of 2021.
Our residential home can provide care for several conditions and complex needs as our staff are trained in end of life care and work in partnership with the Rotherham Hospice. We also work closely with local NHS teams, including District Nurses and mental health teams.
We have several communal areas throughout the home, including an activities room, dementia café, and a bright and airy conservatory area, with direct access to our secure gardens. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms in order to give them a home away from home feel. Our residents enjoy a wide variety of games and activities and we host regular clubs such as the men’s health club to keep all of our residents entertained. We boast strong links with the local community including school, places of worship and Rotherham Football Club who often invite us to visit their stadium.
Types of Care provided
”Cherry Trees care home in Rotherham provided my Mum with a family. They entertained her, cared for her, comforted her and at the end, they were with her. They also cared for me. They knew when to contact me and when I was there, they welcomed me. They made me feel part of the team. They are professional, more than tolerant and they share a wonderful sense of humour. They keep Cherry Trees clean, welcoming and fun; a real home from home.”
