Rainbows of Hope at Nesfield Lodge
Residents at Leeds care home Nesfield Lodge got together and created rainbows of hope to stick in the windows of the home.
A group of the residents got involved and channelled their creative side as they painted in drawings of handprints and rainbows. The activity put a smile on everyone’s face and the residents loved doing something that would make a positive change, they told staff, “this is a really good idea having a display because it will lift everyone’s spirit.”
It wasn’t long before the pictures were up on the windows, ready for everyone walking by to see, everyone at Nesfield Lodge is hoping that the display will send out the message for everyone to take special care and stay at home, so the country can love a lot now so we can live a lot later.
