Take a Breather at Three Bridges' New Calm Café
There’s a fresh new space to unwind at Three Bridges Nursing Home in Warrington, and it’s already winning hearts.
Welcome to the Calm Café, a newly revamped conservatory turned cosy retreat for residents and their loved ones. Whether it’s a quiet cuppa, a friendly chat, or just a peaceful moment to yourself, this new addition is all about comfort, connection, and calm.
The grand opening took place earlier this month with a lovely ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by none other than Betty, one of Three Bridges’ much-loved residents.
“We’re so proud to open the Calm Café,” said Whitney, Home Manager. “Sometimes families just need a quiet space to sit and breathe. This café gives them exactly that - a warm, welcoming place for tea, cake, and catching up.”
While there’s plenty of tea and coffee to go around our Warrington home, the Calm Café is more than just a place to grab a drink. It’s a change of scene. A place to feel at ease. Somewhere to have a natter with friends or enjoy a few peaceful minutes out of the hustle and bustle of daily routines.
“Our aim was to create a homely, calm space away from our residents’ rooms,” Whitney added. “It’s already brought a lovely new energy to the home. Whether it’s a morning brew or an afternoon chinwag, it just feels... uplifting.”
Rita, who lives at the home, summed it up best: “I’m really looking forward to sitting in here when it’s raining and listening to the pitter-patter on the roof. It’s so peaceful.”
Couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
The team at Three Bridges hope the Calm Café becomes a regular go-to for residents and families alike, a place for quiet moments, shared stories, and a bit of breathing space when it’s needed most.
So next time you visit, pop the kettle on and make yourself at home in the Calm Café. It’s more than a space - it’s a feeling.
