Nesfield Lodge Hold A Residents Committee

Nesfield Lodge have formed their very residents' committee to enable them to get involved in decisions of the home.

Staff decided to hold a residents committee as it allows residents to be social and stimulated alongside giving them the opportunity to make choices about what happens in the home and give opinions on what they would like to see more of.

In the resident's committee meeting, they discussed future planning of activities and fundraising ideas, new ways of having fun in the home and what the best ways are for staying connected to loved ones and the community at this difficult time!

Activities Co-ordinator, Danielle Bird said, “this is a good way of keeping our residents involved in daily activities and future planning, It also helps make our residents feel important.”
