We do! It's a great way to try out our care home before making a more permanent decision.

Colleagues at Eckington Court Nursing Home are fully qualified in their respective roles. Plus, everyone can take advantage of our Learning and Development programme, including our Dementia Promise course. 

• What is your weekly care home fees?

The weekly price to stay at our Derbyshire care home varies, depending on the level of care required and type of room requested. However, we've put together this handy Key Facts overview to give you an insight of potential costs for care! 

• What is included in the weekly nursing care costs costs?

Our weekly fee includes the following:

1. Full board and accommodation in a room for your exclusive use.
2. A choice of meals, plus snacks and drinks.
3. Full use of the communal areas and gardens in the home subject to unit accessibility.
4. The opportunity to join in with activities run in the home and the use of recreational facilities (you may be asked for a financial contribution to the cost of some excursions).
5. The cost of your personal care. For example, assistance with washing, bathing, medication (provided under the NHS free prescription scheme) and other personal services
6. Housekeeping and Laundry undertaken on the premises excluding dry cleaning.
7. Liaison with healthcare professionals.
8. WiFi internet access throughout the home

• Do you accept Local Authority funding?

We accept both privately funded and Local Authority funded residents. Local Authority funded residents may be required to pay a ‘Top-up’ fee if there is a shortfall between the amount that the Local Authority pays and the full amount of our charges.
