Photoshoot Time at Castleford Lodge Care Home

Residents from Castleford Lodge Care Home got in front of the camera as they test their new photography set.

The home recently bought a new photography set including a backdrop as they decided they want to take more snaps in the new year. This was a new and exciting activity for the residents and they couldn’t wait to begin their posing!

Residents got in front of the camera and showed off their best smiles as their friends watched, telling them what a great job they were doing, it was a truly lovely atmosphere with everyone in great spirits cheering one another on.

Olive loved posing for the camera as she said “it makes me feel very posh,” whilst Margaret told staff “it’s such an exciting activity and something different, I love it.” The group are going to be working hard over the following weeks to perfect their photography and can’t wait to invite family members in so they can do family photoshoots.

The photos that were taken on the photoshoot will be printed off and put up in the resident’s rooms and even given out to their family members if they wish.
