Residents from Archers Court Care Home took a trip to Ashlea Mews Care Home where they bonded over a game of Bingo.

Four residents from Sunderland home Archers Court came on the trip and couldn’t wait to spend some time with everyone at Ashlea Mews. Once they arrived at the South Shields home they were welcomed with open arms and it wasn’t long before a friendship blossomed between the two groups.

The day kicked off with a game of prize bingo and everyone had their game face on. Residents had so much fun that they requested a second game, the winners couldn’t stop smiling as they revelled in their success.

The games came to an end as they wound down with a cup of tea and a natter, they talked about where they had grown up and shared stories about their childhood, “it’s` been so great making new friends,” Rita said. The group decided that they would love to meet again and next time it will be Ashlea Mews turn to make a trip to Archers Court.
