Teesside Residents Take a Dip

With summer temperatures soaring, many residents have been taking advantage of their home’s extensive outdoor spaces, relaxing with a spot of gardening, or simply enjoying their surroundings. Residents from Green Lodge in Teesside enjoyed an impromptu paddling pool party recently, complete with fruit coolers and cocktails, to enjoy in the summer sunshine. Resident Edna commented, “We have had such hot weather this summer, and it was nice to spend an afternoon splashing around to cool off.” Fellow resident Ray added, “I couldn’t believe how deep it was! Perfect on a hot day, and the fruit coolers were delicious.” Activity Coordinator Emma Kemp said, “We are really lucky to have a garden that is a real sun trap, and what better way to cool off on a hot Sunday afternoon than a dip in the pool, with music and summer drinks, it was like bringing a holiday resort to the home!” To keep up to date with news from the home, follow us on Facebook and YouTube.
