Paddock Stile Manor Spread Kindness
Residents from Paddock Stile Manor Care Home in Tyne & Wear have been busy making cards to send out to doctors, nurses and residents in other Orchard Care Homes.
The group gathered their paints and crayons and got to work on creating cards, first up they made cards to send to fellow residents, making sure to personalise their card to their interests. “I want to draw dogs because I love them,” Effie told the staff, her card was nothing short of amazing as she showcased her fantastic colouring skills.
They then decided to move on to making cards for all the hardworking people at the hospital to show their appreciation to them, they created colourful cards with their handprints stamped on them. "What would we do without them and your carers," Barbara told staff.
They ended their day by decorating their home with rainbows and signs, to spread positivity, the outside of the home is filled with encouraging messages and residents can’t wait till the public see their great work.
