05 June 2024 News

Green Park Nursing Home in Warrington recently opened the doors to their third specialist dementia Reconnect community! Our 9th one in the group! Let’s take a look at some of the fabulous new facilities that are sure to impress.

Sandringham, truly living up to its regal name, has 12 freshly renovated en-suite rooms, fit for a king or queen.

As well as 2 comfortable sitting rooms, perfect for reading, catching up on some TV or having a giggle with your friends.

Our Reconnect dementia communities are curated to promote independence and vibrant living. At Green Park Nursing Home, we believe in the power of choice, inclusion and meaningful occupation to bring joy and fulfilment to our people.

With dedicated spaces for arts and crafts, fully equipped laundry rooms, gardening tools, a cozy tea room, and even a DIY workshop, residents are invited to rediscover everyday tasks and activities, giving them a sense of normality, familiarity and independence. Whether it’s painting, sewing, or simply enjoying a cup of tea, it’s all about providing choices. Our aim is to enable everyone to do what they love while offering the support they need.

We strive to help people with dementia stay connected to their past and stay active, with the compassionate support of our fully-trained carers and nurses. To ensure your loved one receives outstanding care, our Reconnect communities boast a higher ratio of carers, nurses, and support workers.

As part of our Dementia Promise, our team undergoes extensive training in caring for all types of dementia, including vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease. You can rest assured, your loved one is in exceptional hands with us. Our family feedback speaks for itself!

‘My father-in-law has been cared for at Green Park since July 2023. I have been really encouraged to see the level of care that he receives, it is clear to see that he is well looked after from the cleanliness of his room and surroundings to the compassionate way he is treated by the staff. This has really helped to give peace of mind to all the family that the decision made to put him in care was the right one.’
