Happy Memories in the Sun

Reflecting back on some of the very lovely days earlier in the year, this image was taken during the warm spell of weather in the spring, at Penwortham Grange, when residents spent the majority of their weekends in the garden.  A daisy crown made on the lawn reminded Jean, a resident in the home, of the times she used to make them in the parks and gardens during her childhood.  She was more than pleased to model the crown as she sat with Care Assistant Mark on a bench. Sue Hayle, Home Manager, said; “This picture was taken to capture a happy moment, and really defines the relationship between carer and resident.  The staff are not just carers, but friends of the residents, and in truth, an extended family as they spend so much time with the residents.  “The care that is offered by our staff is wonderful to see, commented on by the visitors and families, and we are really proud of this.”
