Cambridge Park, in Lincolnshire, has been awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating by the local authority. The recently published rating means that all three Humberside homes within the Orchard Care Homes Group have been given top marks by the local authority. Food hygiene ratings are an inspection given to a catering business that reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of inspection, or visit by the local authority. The ratings assess: How hygienically the food is handled – how it is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored The condition of the structure of the buildings – the cleanliness, layout, lighting, ventilation and other facilities How the business manages and records what it does to make sure food is safe The rating places the home at the top for food hygiene, alongside both of its Humberside-based sister homes from the Orchard Care Homes Group, Eaton Court and Grimsby Grange & Manor. Comments Dianne Lilley, Food & Beverage Manager at Orchard Care Homes, “This is great news, and means that all three of our Grimsby homes have now received top marks in their latest inspections. Our kitchen teams work hard to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, which is reflected in the 5 star ratings.” To keep up to date with news from the home, follow us on Facebook.com/orchardcarehome/
