Green Park Enjoys a Pub Lunch

Green Park has teamed up with their local pub by hosting a monthly pub lunch and bingo session.

The home and the pub both decided they wanted to give something back to the residents and the local community, this sparked the idea of a monthly treat. The residents have been very excited about this as it gives them a chance to get out of the home and socialise.

The staff and residents walked over to the pub in groups and settled in with a drink, there were 11 people in total who visited and they all had the best time. They enjoyed a lovely lunch from the seniors menu and even treated themselves to a cheeky pudding. The group finished up the evening with a cup of tea/coffee whilst playing their game of bingo.

This session was great for bringing the local community together and giving the residents the chance to socialise and meet new people.
