Summer Arrives at Penwortham Grange & Lodge

Residents from Penwortham Grange & Lodge, in Lancashire, have been soaking up the sun in the garden whilst they enjoy the warmer weather. All that could be heard was the chinking of glasses filled with homemade lemonade and the sound of the accordion at Penwortham Lodge recently, when residents from the home spent the morning enjoying the sunshine accompanied by some surprise entertainment. Resident Monica was delighted to receive a surprise visit from family members who live in Switzerland. Monica’s son-in-law and keen musician, brought along his accordion for the visit and serenaded the residents in the garden all afternoon, encouraging them to sing-along and dance to well-known songs.
