Residents and their families enjoyed a coffee morning with cake, shortbread and muffins, followed by an art activity, during a spring open day at Ashlea Mews.   The group at the South Shields home spent the afternoon creating decorative stones for the outdoor space of the home. Lauren commented, “We had a fantastic day and we’re looking forward to enhancing the garden in time for summer. Residents have also been building and painting their own wooden bird houses, which we already have eight of”.
