Lofthouse Grange & Lodge - Trip to Cleethorpes

Residents from Wakefield care home, Lofthouse Grange & Lodge, wrapped up warm as they headed to Cleethorpes for a seaside visit.

Prepared with their hats and scarves, they headed straight for the seafront.

For some of the residents, it was their first visit to Cleethorpes, and they couldn’t wait to experience the place that they had heard so much about. The group took a walk alongside the seafront and admired the views as they went, “I don’t usually come out much but I’m so glad I did today, I’m really enjoying this,” Maz, a resident on the trip told the everyone.

It wasn’t long before the smell of fish and chips made everyone’s bellies rumble so off they went to Papa’s restaurant where they tucked into a delicious meal, “I really enjoyed the food, they were proper fish and chips,” Resident John laughed.

No trip to the seaside is complete without ice cream, so they made sure to indulge in a few scoops before heading back to Wakefield.
