Green Park Care Home Host Dignit-Tea Party
In celebration of National Dignity Action Day, residents and staff at Green Park Care Home enjoyed an entire day of dignity inspired activities.
Dignity Action Day is an annual opportunity for the care workers and staff team at Green Park, to host a memorable day for everyone and make a commitment to always uphold dignity. This year, everyone took part in several tea parties around the home and residents created their very own tea-party inspired artwork.
They talked about what dignity meant to them and the entire staff team made promises to the home and residents. They were then given a special keyring to represent that they had promised to promote dignity which they hung onto the decorated Digni-tree.
Marie Hopkins, Care Home Manager, commented “All of our staff play an important part in promoting dignity within our home. We’re proud to uphold this promise to all our residents.”
