Green Park Care Home Celebrate Halloween with Pumpkin Carving and an Entertainer

green-park-care-home-warrington-halloween.jpgResidents and staff from Green Park Care Home had a day filled with fun as they kicked off their Halloween celebrations.

The home began their celebrations with carving some pumpkins, they channelled their creativity and produced some fantastic pumpkins. All of the units from the home were given their own pumpkins and were told to let loose with their imaginations, staff supported residents with their creations and the results were impressive. The winners were the Cavendish Unit and they were treated to some yummy chocolates as a result of this.

The home continued their Halloween celebrations with a visit from an entertainer, Mark Hemmings who is a regular visitor to the home came along and sang some songs for the residents which brightened up everyone’s day.

They also enjoyed a yummy lunch made up of pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup and then took part in a nice singalong. Lisa the homes Activity Coordinator said, “all residents had a ball and really enjoyed the singalong.”
