The Warrington Nursing Home had the pleasure of being joined by children from Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School and St Augusting’s school choir, who arrived to sing a variety of traditional Christmas Carols for the residents.

The children had been practicing all week to perform for the residents and they certainly didn’t disappoint!

“It was an absolute treat for the residents when the children came to sing, you could see the joy in their faces and some even got a bit emotional”, commented Mel and Emma the home’s Activities Coordinators.

“Activities like this are a vital part of our residents care, hearing these classic songs helps them to reminisce about their own childhood and encourages them so socialise.”
