Easter Begins at Three Bridges Nursing Home

10 April 2020 News

The local community comes together to spoil residents at Three Bridges Nursing Home to Easter eggs.

The home took to their Facebook page to ask for any donations big or small Easter-related for residents and the response they received was truly overwhelming. It wasn’t long before by the 60 Thornton’s Easter eggs turned up at the door, donated kindly from Warrington foodbank, one of the home's residents has a relative who volunteers at the foodbank and organised this lovely donation.

This wasn’t all though, as other relatives of residents pitched in and sent treats in for everyone at the home. The generosity continued as the home was surprised with 50 eggs from a Local Driving School in Warrington who is a friend of resident here, she said, ”Margaret has done enough for the community in her time  and if they cannot give something back now than when can they.”

Staff and residents are overwhelmed with the kindness that has been shown to them, Danielle, Admin at the home, said “wow, we cannot thank people enough for their generosity especially at this hard time. The residents are so happy and so are the staff, it is the little things in life which bring the biggest smiles.”
