Langfield Care Home Receive Poems from School Children

06 April 2020 News

Residents from Langfield Care Home in Greater Manchester were very excited to open up the post and see that schoolchildren had written to them.

Alice sat with staff member Sinead and read out a poem to her, expressing how lovely she thought it was as she read. The sentiment left everyone feeling grateful and appreciative as they talked about how glad they were to have each other.

Vicky, the home manager at Langfield said, Staff sat with residents sharing the poems, it was a lovely touch. It was very emotional to see staff and residents being able to share emotions, tears, hugs then laughter afterwards. Truly shows how invaluable the staff are to our residents at this time. Without a doubt, they are a second family."
