Christmas Festivities are in Full Force at Lansbury Court Care Home

Sunderland home Lansbury Court has been making the most of the holiday season by celebrating all things Christmas.

The home had the pleasure of hosting children from Castletown Primary School, the children visited the home and spent time with our residents and performed for them. They are part of the Castletown school choir, so residents were very excited to watch them perform and they did not disappoint!

The children left the residents in awe as they sang away, Frances, one of the homes resident’s said, “wow they bought a tear to my eye.”

Following the children’s visit the home decided to get involved with Christmas jumper day in an effort to raise money for Save The Children, they got out their best festive outfit and played some fun games. They took part in quizzes and competitions and were left feeling more festive than ever.
