About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality property projects? We’re looking for a Planned Works Manager to lead and manage the delivery of estates and maintenance projects across our portfolio. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on our property strategy and resident experience.You’ll ensure all planned works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards—with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of planned works and refurbishment projects, including decorating, critical assets, and communal areas.
  • Manage internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Managers and Customer Assurance teams to plan and prioritise works.
  • Develop and maintain a Planned Works Register and contribute to long-term CAPEX strategies (12-month, 3-year, and 5-year plans).
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulationsHealth & Safety, and CQC best practices.
  • Support procurement and tender processes for contractor selection.
  • Promote self-delivery opportunities and upskill internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and budgets.

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management and Fit Out. 
  • RICS qualified or working towards it, or a relevant qualification in Building or Facilities Management.
  • NEBOSH qualified with a strong understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, and CAPEX delivery.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
