Peripatetic Care Home Manager
Travel is required for this role.
At Orchard Care Homes, we are expanding our operational support team and are now seeking to appoint a Peripatetic Care Home Manager for our North West region.
As a Peripatetic Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Care Home Managers to drive premium care quality and compliance across the region in addition to managing a specific care home in the absence of a Home Manager if required. Your role will include overseeing all elements of residents’ care, developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and driving business opportunities and maintaining budgets and controlling costs. You will be an inspiring leader, and whilst supporting the day to day operations of our care homes, you will be seeking new opportunities to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for both our residents and our home teams.
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to provide leadership in homes in the absence of a registered manager. This role demands a fast-paced approach to driving change, resolving issues, and supporting teams to deliver high-quality care and service. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity, identifying areas for improvement, and enabling teams to thrive in a responsive and evolving environment.
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Care Home Manager within a dementia setting
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a demonstrated record of achieving Good/Outstanding ratings
- Passionate about delivering and developing high standards of person-centred care
- Demonstrated marketing and business development skills within the private care sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, professionals and home teams
