Chatsworth Lodge is a warm and welcoming 39-bed residential care home located in the heart of Chesterfield. We are proud of our strong community ties and our reputation for delivering person-centred care in a safe, supportive, and homely environment. Our dedicated team provides high-quality care for older adults, including those living with dementia, with compassion, dignity, and respect. We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the daily running of the home and to help lead our team with professionalism and empathy.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support the care team to deliver outstanding care.
• Participate in assessments and care reviews, acting as a key contact for residents, families, and staff.
• Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Promote a positive, resident-focused culture in line with our “Good” CQC rating.

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has previous experience in a similar leadership role within a care setting.
• Holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or is actively working towards it (minimum Level 3 in Adult Care or Health and Social Care required).
• Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Has a natural ability to put others at ease and foster a supportive team culture.
