Our residents have ample space to relax, including our spacious lounges and outdoor area.

Yes! We can provide short-term respite care at our home. It's a great way to try out our facilities, or simply give their main carer a well-deserved break. 

• What qualifications and training do your team have?

Colleagues within the Orchard Care Homes group are able to access our great Learning and Development programme, which is designed to help our team learn new and exciting skills. Whether they want to become a pro at providing dementia care, or looking to gain a senior care qualification, we can help!

• What are your weekly care home fees?

Our weekly fees for care depend on a variety of factors, including the level of care required and type of room requested. However, as a guideline, we've put together this handy Key Facts overview, which gives you all the information you need.

• What is included in the weekly care costs?

Our weekly fee includes the following:

1. Full board and accommodation in a room for your exclusive use.
2. A choice of meals, plus snacks and drinks.
3. Full use of the communal areas and gardens in the home subject to unit accessibility.
4. The opportunity to join in with activities run in the home and the use of recreational facilities (you may be asked for a financial contribution to the cost of some excursions).
5. The cost of your personal care. For example, assistance with washing, bathing, medication (provided under the NHS free prescription scheme) and other personal services
6. Housekeeping and Laundry undertaken on the premises excluding dry cleaning.
7. Liaison with healthcare professionals.
8. WiFi internet access throughout the home

• Do you accept Local Authority funding?

We accept both privately funded and Local Authority funded residents. Local Authority funded residents may be required to pay a ‘Top-up’ fee if there is a shortfall between the amount that the Local Authority pays and the full amount of our charges.
