Trip To Cleethorpes

We all know that fish and chips taste better by the seaside. So what better way to spend a windy, Novembers day, than a quick trip to the coast! 

Residents and staff from Eckington Court in Derbyshire, made for the seaside town of Cleethorpes, more specifically the Victorian Pier and Papas Fish and Chips Restaurant! Everyone loved the restaurant, “It’s just like being in the Titanic”, Commented Margaret, one of the residents on the trip, and it’s easy to see why with its classic décor and huge chandeliers.

Joining the trip was Billy, Margaret’s best friend, who visits her every single day and they go on walks together, so it was only fair that Billy came for a trip to the seaside! And Janet, who is a member of staff who volunteered to join in the fun on her day off.

Once everyone was stuffed with delicious Fish and Chips, everyone headed back to the coach for the journey home… but not before grabbing a traditional stick of rock each!
