Travelling Panto Pays a Visit to Green Lodge Care Home

Residents, staff and family members from Green Lodge Care Home in Durham settled in to watch the travelling panto put on a performance for them.

Northeast Producers visited the home and delivered an outstanding performance of Oliver for their audience, it was a 40-minute show made up of singing, dancing and having lots of fun! They sang all the hits from Oliver including Oom-Pah-Pah and food glorious food!

This then led on to Christmas songs, residents got involved and had a great sing along to all the Christmas classics. One of the new residents at the home, Pauline, joined in with all the fun and told staff, “I really loved all the costumes!”

The visit got everyone in the festive spirit and ready for Christmas, residents were left raving about the show for the rest of the day and couldn’t take the smiles off their faces. “Thank you so much for making my mum smile.” Mavis’s son Michael told the actors.
