Eaton Court Party the Day Away as Part of Their Christmas Celebrations

Grimsby care home Eaton Court hosted a day filled with fun activities and entertainment ahead of Christmas.

They began the day with a visit from the GI girls who spoiled the residents with a fantastic set of Christmas songs, they performed a mix of hits and had everyone singing along with great big smiles on their faces.

Then came game time, the staff had organised lots of fun challenges for the residents to play, the first one being everyone’s favourite, prize bingo! They then moved on to a friendly game of pass the parcel before the raffle started.

Everyone was aiming for first prize in the raffle as there was a mini-cruise for two on offer, Tracey was the lucky winner and she couldn’t contain her excitement. The day was great fun with everyone raving about how much they had enjoyed themselves, Mary thanked the staff for a great party and told them they all had done a good job.

Following this the home saw the Yarborough Ladies visit, they partied away with the residents, singing Christmas songs for them whilst the residents rung bells to the music. They all sat back and enjoyed a hot drink and yummy mince pies before settling down for the evening.
