Sunflower Competition at Eaton Court
Residents at Eaton Court have started the winter season by growing their very own sunflowers to bring some light to the home.
All of the residents joined in and planted a seed in a pot, they couldn’t wait to see how much their sunflowers would grow and were constantly checking up on them. Over the weeks the sunflowers blossomed and residents were elated with their progress.
At the end of the competition residents got together to judge who’s sunflower had grown the tallest, Dorothy was over the moon as her sunflower measured the biggest and she was crowned the winner! Her prize was her very own plant, “I am so happy and excited about this,” she exclaimed.
