Summer Fete Success at Ashlea Mews

The summer fête at Ashlea Mews in South Shields was a huge success and the event was graced with good weather. The staff and residents were out in full force to meet and greet the local community, and man the different stalls. The total raised for the Resident Fund was over £935, which will be put towards resident trips and activities. Lauren Grant, Activity Coordinator said, “We are delighted that we had such a great day and are completely overwhelmed with the generosity of the people who came. The amount raised is amazing. “A big thank you goes out to everyone who supported the event, including many staff members who came in on their day off. I would just add a big thank you to Andrea, Izzy, Lorna and our manager Vicki, for all their hard work and dedication to the fête.”
