Residents from Green Park Care Home Begin Their Christmas Shopping

As part of their Oomph trip this week residents from Green Park Care Home decided to start their Christmas shopping.

With Christmas around the corner residents and staff from the home decided that there was no time to waste and began their Christmas shopping. They got ready, hopped aboard the Oomph bus and headed towards the garden centre.

This was an extra productive visit as the residents managed to not only get some shopping done but also got to see all the decorations and lights at the garden centre. They were very impressed with the display as they saw Christmas trees decorated with snow and lights and a giant snowman.

They even took a wander around the craft fair, where they found some lovely little trinkets which made for the perfect Christmas presents. All the shopping led to them working up a thirst so off they went to get a cup of coffee, they sat back and talked about all the things they’d seen over a hot drink and piece of cake.
