Pizza Time at Green Lodge!

It was pizza time at Green Lodge Care Home in Billingham recently!

Rather than buying some pizzas, residents Gladys and Edna at Green Lodge showed off their culinary prowess by making their own pizzas from scratch.   

They kneaded the dough, slathered on the sauce, sprinkled the cheese and carefully selected their own toppings to create their own delicious pizzas that could give Papa John a run for his money.

“Food always tastes better when you make it yourself, especially when it’s pizza and you get to choose your own toppings”, commented Gladys, a resident at Green Lodge.

If Gladys and Edna ever ‘knead’ to make some more ‘dough’, maybe they should get a ‘pizza’ the action and open their own shop!
