Orchard Managers Gather....Finally!

It's been a while, three years to be precise but last week Orchard management were finally able to gather, share some important insights, recognise some of the excellent work being done across the group and most importantly have some fun. Over two days at the Double Tree Hilton in Leeds Orchard's home managers and senior leaders were able to attend the unveiling of Orchard's Dementia Strategy, our commitment to achieving excellence in dementia care across the group. There were also breakout workshops on subjects as important as sales and marketing, staff attraction and retention, as well as excellence in dementia care.   

There was time too to applaud the efforts of our homes in undertaking their virtual Mediterranean cruises, with generous £5000, £3000 and £1000 prizes awarded to the best three homes, the prizes going to each homes' residents fund. We look forward to seeing how the residents choose to spend their well earned prizes.

Finally, and most importantly, it was also a time to come together after 3 hard years and enjoy each others company and relax with some food and drinks. There was even time for a spot of cocktail making which went down really well, unlike some of the concoctions that were conjured up!
