Mr Mark Spencer, MP for Sherwood, returned to Clipstone Hall & Lodge again this month to celebrate National Care Home Open Day, and helped raise £260 for activities at the home. The MP shared coffee, cake and conversation with the Home Manager Emma Strutt, families, residents and the local community. Mr Spencer said; ‘‘I really enjoyed visiting several care homes in my constituency on National Care Home Open Day, and visiting both the residents and the brilliant staff that support them. We had a lot of fun, and also discussed a lot of local issues and concerns, so a very productive day. “I’ve been to Clipstone Hall quite recently prior to the Open Day as well to support the HenPower project, and I’m pleased to be able to come back and see that in action.’’
