Green Lodge animal lovers enjoy doorstep zoo

Much to the joy of animal lovers at Green Lodge, a mini zoo was recently brought to their doorstep. From turtles to tarantulas, the residents at the Stockton-on-Tees home were fascinated by the different species, interacting with one another and quizzing the ‘ZooLab’ visitors for fun facts. Residents were particularly fond of the baby turtle, which fit perfectly in the palms of each of their hands. One resident commented that she enjoyed holding the pink corn snake. Activity Coordinators arranging innovative and sensory visits like this allow residents the chance to engage with all creatures great and small.
