Masquerade Ball
Class and elegance were on the cards recently at Green Park Care Home in Warrington.
In true fancy dress style, Green Park hosted it’s very own Masquerade Ball! An event like this took a lot of preparation, so both residents and staff chipped in to help make all of the decorations and masks in the run up to the event. “Everyone really enjoyed putting together their masks and selecting different colours and materials.” Said Joe Ward, Activities Co-ordinator at Green Park.
With the all of the decorations and masks made and ready, it was time for the Ball! Residents, dressed up in their best, while staff arrived in tuxedos and frocks, everyone looked incredible! Wine and Canapé’s were served and sipped, it was a very classy event.
The ball was a huge success, everyone looked and felt amazing “One of our gentlemen residents said that it was the best event he’d ever been too in his life” Added Joe.
The masquerade ball helped to bring staff and occupants together. The atmosphere was great, and it was a fantastic creative experience for everyone, keeping their minds stimulated. Whilst the ball itself was great for social interactions and most importantly… everyone had a lot of fun!
