Lansbury Court Welcome Entertainer Andy James into their home

Andy James visited Lansbury Court Care Home in Sunderland and performed some hits for the residents.

Residents were excited to see Andy James as they were all in the mood for a good old sing-along, Andy did not disappoint as he arrived at the home ready to get the party started.

Andy’s setlist was made up of songs from the sixties much to the pleasure of the residents as this meant that they knew all the words and did not hesitate to sing along. Kevin is a big Roy Orbinson fan so he was the first one making requests, Andy performed the hit Penny Arcade as Kevin sang along with a great big smile on his face.

It wasn’t long before residents were up on their feet dancing along to the songs with the staff. Everyone was sad to see Andy go as they had such a great time with him and are looking forward to his next visit.
