McDonald’s Trip for Cherry Trees Resident June

June from Cherry Trees Care Home was accompanied by the home’s Activity Coordinator on a trip to McDonald’s.

The visit was in honour of June’s birthday, as the celebrations were approaching June was asked by Lisa, Activities Coordinator at the home what she would like to do for the big day and June didn’t think twice before saying McDonald's please!

June and Lisa took a trip to their local McDonald’s where June ordered her favourite meal, chicken nuggets and chips with lots of ketchup! No meal would be complete without a yummy milkshake, June made sure to get herself a strawberry milkshake and drink every last sip!

Lisa was chuffed with how much of a positive effect this trip had on June and loved seeing her smiling, going back to a place where she has spent a lot of her younger days left June reminiscing, she told Lisa, “I used to visit here regularly, it’s so lovely to come here again.”
