Lansbury Court Celebrate World Music Day with Leafbug Workshop

Lansbury Court Care Home received a visit from Leafbug Workshop in honour of World Music Day.

Leafbug deliver care home entertainment in the form of interactive music workshops and the home was very excited to welcome them in. They bought musical instruments with them and made sure everyone got in to the musical spirit!

Sarah from Leafbug played an ukulele for the residents and they all got involved by singing along and playing their own instruments. Mel, who is a staff member at the home told us “It was so lovely seeing all our residents enjoy the music and playing the instruments.”

One of the group members Walter, was seen to be having lots of fun and especially enjoyed playing the tambourine. Staff members from the home also got involved with playing some instruments and overall it was a day filled with laughter and fun for everyone who took part!
