Green Park Host a Garden Party

Warrington care home Green Park has recently decided to celebrate and honour each of the units in their home by hosting individual parties for them.

First up was the Windsor Unit which is the home’s nursing unit, the staff decided to hold a garden party, the aim of this party was to engage residents in a sensory experience whilst also giving them the chance to socialise with each other and take some time out to relax.

Singer, Sandra Currie also attended the home and performed some live entertainment for the residents, this got everyone in the party spirit and excited for the rest of the day. The group then channelled their creativity and took part in some glass stain painting before settling down for some yummy garden themed lunch. Finishing off the day residents sat down with their families and played some garden games.
