Green Park Gives Programme See’s A Trip to Bents Garden Centre
Green Park took a trip to Bents Garden Centre at the request of resident Dorothy
As Part of their Green Park Gives (GPG) Programme staff members asked residents where they would like to go or what they would like to do eg – a place special to them, a meal etc.
On this occasion Dorothy told staff that she really wanted to go to Bents Garden Centre so that she could get a plant for her room. This was a place that she used to really enjoy visiting however since moving to the home she hasn’t been able to go as regularly as she would like.
Visiting Bents was like a trip down memory lane for Dorothy, as she wandered through the aisles and looked at all the different plants she reminisced about how she used to visit here and was surprised by how much bigger it had gotten!
They finished off the day by enjoying a nice coffee and wandering around the pond, Dorothy had a great day and can’t wait for her next day out.
