Residents and staff both worked very hard making all different types of treats ahead of the market and couldn’t wait to show these off. The market saw many stalls, with local businesses attending and setting up shop. They had stalls selling candles and fudge alongside a very special stall from staff member Jim who was showcasing his own artwork.

The home offered sweet cones, reindeer food, letter to Santa kits and hot chocolate reindeer bags, everyone was very impressed with the selection much to the pleasure of the residents. They also had an impressive raffle happening alongside a tombola, these encouraged visitors to get involved in the fun and help raise money for the home.

Guests had the pleasure of listening to singer Sandra Currie who performed some great Christmas songs and had everyone joining in and singing along. All the visitors left with smiles on their faces, Lisa said, “you all did amazing, my kids enjoyed the hot chocolates and sweets.”

The home managed to raise a very impressive £560, which will go towards a community sensory garden, Joe the Activity Manager at Green Park said, “it was a brilliant day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!”
