Fish and Chips Friday at Green Park Care Home

Residents from Green Park Care Home spent their Friday afternoon in the best way, with a fish and chip lunch.

The Windsor Unit at Green Park were very kindly gifted a cash donation by the relatives of one of the residents at the home so they decided to make good use of it. The decision of what to do with the money was given to the residents and the choice was between a party and chippy lunch... it didn’t take long for residents to decide and the unanimous verdict was fish and chips!

Everyone was very excited to indulge in a traditional fish and chips meal as residents talked about it reminded them of their younger days. They made sure to request a side of peas and off went Joe, Activities Manager at the home, the meal did not disappoint and residents loved every bit of it. A huge thank you to the lovely relative who made the donation.
