Eaton Court Take It Back to the 1950’s

With the help of students from The Grimsby Institute, Eaton Court residents were transported back to the 1950’s.

Residents enjoyed a reminiscence session where they listened to music from some of their favourite artist's, from Frank Sinatra to Nat King Cole they went through them all. They looked at pictures of the singers that the students provided and reminisced about their younger days listening to their music.

As a group they decided on which songs to play and it wasn’t long before they were talking about dates they went on and places they used to visit to dance to music. The session bought back many happy memories for the residents and they were left in great spirits for the rest of the day.
