Easter Preparations Are in Full Swing at Ashlea Mews Care Home
Residents from Ashlea Mews Care Home have been busy unlocking their creativity as they prepare for all things Easter.
They began their preparations by getting involved in arts & crafts, residents painted moneyboxes that were in the shape of easter bunnies. They showed off their skills and ended up with colourful creations, which they were very impressed with.
Talking about Easter reminded everyone of how they used to spend the time in the past, they reminisced about Easter egg hunts and spending time with their loved ones which left them all in great spirits.
They then moved onto making easter baskets, they filled them with all things sweet including chocolates and sweets and did all they could to make them look pretty so that people would buy them from the home around easter time.
John enjoyed the session a lot and staff couldn’t help but notice how cheery he was for the rest of the day, “this was something very different for me and I have enjoyed it very much,” he said.
