Residents enjoying their arts & crafts sessions.Lambs are playing in the fields and flowers are starting to blossom, that can only mean one thing… it’s easter time! Residents at Lansbury Court have been getting into the spirit during one of their recent arts & crafts sessions.

Lansbury Court was recently joined by two students from Newcastle College,  Rebecca and Charlie. The two students joined in with the arts & crafts session by helping residents make a variety of beautiful Easter cards that they can give to their families.

“Residents loved chatting away with the students. Exchanging stories and memories as they engaged with the creative session, was really beneficial for them”, commented Christine Callaghan, Activities Coordinator at Lansbury Court.

“It was so nice to have the girls join us for the day. It’s always lovely to see some new faces and have a good chat with someone”, added Kevin, a resident at Lansbury Court.

As well as the cards, residents made a range of lovely Easter themed decorations that will be displayed all around the home, for all to see!
