Derbyshire Residents Enjoy Day Trip to Matlock

As part of a vibrant and varied activity programme, residents from Riverdale in Derbshire, enjoy taking regular trips out, and making the most of their natural surroundings. One recent trip was to the historic town of Matlock, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.  The group spent the day exploring the former spa town, including a visit to an interactive museum, which highlighted the town's rich history as a spa town. They then enjoyed a lunch of fish and chips in a local cafe. One resident commented, "Matlock is a great day out and I always enjoy coming here. We live in such a beautiful part of the country and it is nice to be able to get out and see it." Activity Coordinator Laura Simpson added, "Although there is always lots going in the home, it is nice to be able to get out for the day every so often.
